- Third step is to setup your account with MobStac, Your initial mobile URL will be something like "yourname.mobstac.com" but you can change it later when you signup.
You had settled your account with MobStac in previous step and with this you have created the mobile version of your site. Now you need to redirect the traffic from mobile browsers to your mobile version of your website. For this MobStac provide you with some codes which your have to paste in the <head> tag of your websites HTML page.
MobStac also sends this code to your mailbox, copy it from there and paste into the head of HTML page.
You are done with it, this will redirect users visiting your website on there mobile phones to the mobile version of your site.
3.Customizing Your Mobile Site URL
Now you have to change the mobile URL from "yourname.mobstac.com" to "m.yoursite.com".
To do this follow these instructions:
- Go to MobStac Dashboard > Settings.
- Enter the mobile site URL of your choice in the 'CNAME' field under the settings tab.
- Login to your domain manager (like godaddy.com) where you have registered your domain.
- Create an m subdomain - Add an entry with NAME="m.yoursite.com.", TYPE="CNAME" and with VALUE="yourname.mobstac.com." (Note the dot at the end of m.yoursite.com. and yourname.mobstac.com.)
